A few months ago I started my first blog and this was my initial goal. To start writing about what keeps me motivated to create content that helps people grow their own businesses. But after almost three months of blogging, I am starting to feel like I can’t keep doing this and I don’t know how much longer I should continue. This is where I had my Blogger burnout journey.
From the beginning I knew that I wanted to help others become better-educated consumers but now, I’m not sure if I still want to do this.
To be honest, it’s getting hard not to give in to all the requests from the business community to write about them rather than providing information. A lot of my time has been spent responding to questions via social media, emails, and even phone calls.
Even though this is something I enjoy, I am feeling burnt out with answering the same questions over and over again and spending less time engaging with other blogs and websites.
When I decided to start this blog I thought I would have a chance at making some money off of it while helping others. But, I haven’t seen any results yet from blogger burnout. And I don’t think I could handle having to answer emails asking for money or links, either.
If I didn’t respond, then they’d ask someone else to address their question. So I’ve had to cut back on some of my activities to maintain my sanity and keep myself going without burning out.
I know that it seems like I don’t give anything away free anymore, but I appreciate those who read my articles and comment on them. When I look at the number of comments and hits that my article gets each day, it makes me feel good about blogger burnout.
Besides the regular posting schedule, I’ll try to post 2-4 times per week. This way I can make room for other things that are happening around the web, such as Twitter and Facebook.

I like to make a subject calendar and set new deadlines for myself. This motivates me to post at least once a week on my blog.
I can see the topics I’ll be writing about and how they’ll connect to one another. If there’s a category about which I haven’t written in a while, I try to come up with new blog entries on related topics.
